Externally clad 45mm log cabin

This cabin was one of our old demonstrators. We sold it, dismantled it and rebuilt it for a customer in Cornwall.
We insulated and then externally clad the cabin with pressure treated timber.

We are pretty much finished on this mobile unit log cabin. The customers are over the moon with it and we have to agree it does look great.

The insulation used is 80mm celotex in the walls and floor with 100mm of celotex in the roof. This will save the owners in energy costs as well as keeping the building warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

It has 44mm thick wall logs. Reinforced felt shingles on the roof. Inward opening tilt and turn windows. The customer has done an excellent job of painting it insaide and outside. What a great garden building.

Mobile unit, 15m x 6m, Wadebridge, Cornwall

This mobile unit is located near Wadebridge, Cornwall.  The building is 15m x 6m and constructed of 80mm glulam wall logs. There is 80mm celotex insulation all round. A large bi-fold door on one side is perfectly placed to take in the local views. Non slip decking on three sides is a very nice addition.

The customer had a log burner fitted and lives here full time.

Bespoke 8m x 6m pent roof cabin, Cornwall

Here is a bespoke 8m x 6m pent roof log cabin we supplied and constructed in Cornwall. The logs are 80mm thick glulam logs. It is a single skin cabin with 50mm foil board insulation in the ceiling and floor.

The windows and doors are all factory painted and open outwards.
