We are pretty much finished on this mobile unit log cabin. The customers are over the moon with it and we have to agree it does look great.

The insulation used is 80mm celotex in the walls and floor with 100mm of celotex in the roof. This will save the owners in energy costs as well as keeping the building warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

This mobile unit is located near Wadebridge, Cornwall.  The building is 15m x 6m and constructed of 80mm glulam wall logs. There is 80mm celotex insulation all round. A large bi-fold door on one side is perfectly placed to take in the local views. Non slip decking on three sides is a very nice addition.

The customer had a log burner fitted and lives here full time.

The Crib Box Cafe, Padstow, Cornwall

We were asked to provide a replacement building for a local cafe. The Crib Box Cafe in Padstow, Cornwall, is now serving from a traditional interlocking log cabin.

The solid timber walls are made with 80mm thick glulam (glued and laminated) timbers. The floors and roof are extremely well insulated.

Becasue of the location of this log cabin, on the harbour front in Padstow, the customer specified uPVC windows and doors throughout.

Mobile Home, Coverack, Cornwall

This mobile home is in Coverack, Cornwall.

The customer contacted us and explained that he had a mobile unit on his land for several years. He obtained the required certificate of lawfulness for residential use and we supplied a brand new log cabin for him that meets mobile untit legislation.

This two bedroom cabin has 90mm solid timber walls. The floor and roof and very well insulated. The design of the cabin was finalised with the customer to suit his personal requirements. Most of our residential mobile homes are designed this way. No two are exactly the same.
